TDA Research: more than a research lab

Developing cutting edge chemical processes, materials and hardware for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy and chemical industries.

TDA Research develops cutting edge chemical processes and materials for customers in the defense, aerospace, energy and chemical industries. Our core competencies are in catalysts, sorbents and polymers, and we apply them to solve a wide variety of problems. Our catalysts clean the air breathed by pilots, astronauts and workers, clean up oilfield and refinery streams, and enable new chemical processes. Our sorbents protect fuel cells and chemical processes, keep harmful gases and metals out of the air and water, and separate and purify chemicals. Our carbon capture soirbents can remove CO2 from both high (synthesis and flue gases) and low (confined spaces – spacecraft cabin, spacesuits, rebreathers and ambient air)concentration souerces with high removal aefficiency and capacity. New polymers and polymer additives are added to paints and coatings to prevent corrosion, or to make them conduct electricity.

Navigating Uncharted Waters

TDA addresses real world problems that don’t have obvious solutions. Our diverse team of scientists and engineers thrive on the unique challenges each of our one-of-a-kind projects present. We are structured to stay quick and nimble.
