Nitricity: Electrified and distributed nitrogen fertilizer production

Electrified & distributed nitrogen fertilizer production

Today the production of nitrogen fertilizer is fueled by fossil fuels. The finished product travels through a complex supply chain. Yet these established supply chains have the tendency to miss developing economies. The result: this important product is often not available where it’s needed most. The Bay Area company has developed a technology that has the potential to produce cost-effective fertilizer for both established farms and developing markets, while minimizing environmental impact.
