Engines of hope, engines of demand?
A discussion on the growth of SMEs in an uncertain global environment
Featuring an OECD report entitled Intellectual Assets and Innovation: The SME Dimension

Increasingly, innovation in all its forms is considered critical to economic growth and prosperity. Small and Medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are constantly being touted as being the “engines of hope.” Yet, these companies are often more challenged than larger enterprises.

This interactive forum, presented by the OECD in co-operation with Larta Institute, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and JonesDay, discusses various approaches – policies, considerations, mechanisms – that could accelerate innovation and support small innovative enterprises.
