"The (Larta) seminar had a profound impact on the fundraising strategy and methodology of our company ... in December 2006 we closed a $1.2M series A investment round, and we will be commencing trials in Israel in 9 months time. Positive momentum seems to build on itself, and several more angels, and industry sources, have contacted us to express interest."

    Global Bridge - Canada

The Canada-U.S. Tech Transfer Bridge program showcased selected technologies spinning out of Canadian universities at the Project T2 Conference in 2005. The purpose was to generate interest in Canadian tech transfer efforts from U.S. corporate venturing arms. 15 technologies from 5 Canadian universities were admitted to the program. 7 of the most promising companies were awarded remote mentoring and a final venture showcase at the 2005 Project T2. Canada-U.S. Tech Transfer Bridge program was funded by the Canadian Consulate General, Los Angeles. Larta Institute and partner, Canada’s Investment, Science, & Technology Branch (IIT), have also delivered remote training to various recommended companies. Seven of the most promising of these companies were invited to Los Angeles where they received further training through live mentoring, networking opportunities and attendance at a final presentation event at the Venture Forum 2006.
