MarketLink™
Partnering is as much about building relationships and awareness of externally-developed
technologies and solutions as it is about transactions. Larta's MarketLink partnering
services, listed below, seek to nurture and promote the promising emerging companies
in our network and assist industry in identifying and connecting with cutting-edge
technologies.
Industry Advisory Board (IAB)
The Larta Industry Advisory Board (IAB) program provides select entrepreneurs and
industry partners the opportunity to foster new relationships and develop strategic
connections. IAB members provide market-based feedback and insight to Larta program
participants, while receiving access to Larta's database and dynamic pipeline of
300+ innovations per year. IAB members are a diverse set of senior executives and
technology scouts from Fortune 1000 companies. The IAB is divided into four categories:
Agriculture-Agritech, Chemical-Materials-Cleantech, Electronics-IT-Software, and
Life Sciences.

Larta Partnering Salons (LPS)
The Larta Partnering Salon (LPS) is a virtual partnering platform that provides
industry partners an efficient tool to uncover breakthrough innovations. Entrepreneurs
and industry partners also gain new relationships and market connections from the
LPS. The two LPS components are:
-
Technology Showcase Salon
[company → industry]
Technology Showcase Salon [company
→ industry]
The Technology Showcase Salon is an invitation-only virtual event that features
a hand-picked group of Larta-affiliated companies to present to IAB members. This
selected group presents to key IAB members in a specific sector (e.g. materials,
agribusiness, healthcare IT). IAB members receive a “first look” at a sector-specific
pipeline of high-potential companies funded by competitive grant programs from Larta’s
domestic and international programs.
-
Industry Salon [industry

Industry Salon [industry

The Industry Salon is an exclusive opportunity for Larta-affiliated companies to
meet and learn from presenting IAB members. These salons are tailored to provide
start-ups from Larta’s commercialization programs insight into potential industry
partnerships and collaborations. IAB members present on their technology sourcing
needs and partnering opportunities.

Feedback Sessions
The Feedback Sessions are live or virtual interactive working sessions designed
to provide entrepreneurs the opportunity to individually present their business
and technology to a group of specialists—industry licensing/partnering executives,
successful entrepreneurs, and IP experts. Entrepreneurs receive honest feedback
and critiques on their commercialization roadmaps and presentations from Session
attendees. Feedback Sessions are often a component of an overall
Commercialization Assistance Program (CAP).
Strategic Introductions
Larta aims to meaningfully connect entrepreneurs with potential strategic partners,
investors, or other U.S.-based, small companies and help accelerate entrepreneurs'
awareness of markets and competitive issues. We identify strategic partner targets
for companies and undertake activities to secure a virtual presentation and discussion
with the target. Larta draws from its IAB, network of small businesses, investor
networks and IP experts as needed. Feedback Sessions are often a component of an
overall Commercialization Assistance
Program (CAP).
